点评：I can’t recommend Kasun and his team of instructors enough!!!
As a complete beginner (female in my late 30’s) I was a little nervous, but as soon as I met them I knew I was in good hands. They’re super experienced and supportive, providing helpful feedback and advice the throughout the lesson. Their friendly and relaxed attitude helps to make sure you feel relaxed and just have fun with it - falls and all! You can tell they really are passionate about what they do and thanks to these guys, I was hooked from day 1 and had made great progress by day 3. I can’t wait to go back and have more lessons with them!
Kasun, who runs the school, is such a lovely guy - he’s got a LOT of patience and just wants you to enjoy yourself. He pays close attention to what you’re doing so he can give you tips on how to improve, and his cheerful attitude makes him a pleasure to be around. You just contact him via WhatsApp to book - he’s very responsive. Ami took me further out for my 3rd lesson and he’s also absolutely fantastic - honestly, all of them are! They all help you out when you’re in the sea together.
Hiriketiya Beach itself is stunning and the perfect little bay to learn surfing or hone your skills. It can get very busy so do expect to have lots of people around you, but that’s part of surfing anywhere and it’s nice because everyone is learning so you’re all in it together :)
If you’re in doubt, just go for it! Book one lesson with Kasun and team then see how you feel. You won’t regret it!
