点评：We visited during one of the free pet cuddle sessions and had never been here before. We were really impressed by the place overall. There was a huge selection of animals available, from reptiles to small furry animals and birds. It’s a great pet shop and the restaurant was very good as well. We would definitely visit again.
The free cuddle session itself was extremely busy. My son was very excited to meet the snakes, but unfortunately this was the first animal in the queue and the experience felt quite hurried. One staff member in particular didn’t seem very keen on children actually holding the snake and tried to encourage my son to just stroke it instead. My son is 7 years old and very gentle, and although he was eventually allowed to hold the snake, it felt a bit reluctant. After about a minute the staff member kept asking if we were done, which made the interaction feel a bit abrupt.
The rest of the animals were a much better experience. My son got to hold the mice and guinea pigs and really enjoyed that.
Overall, the venue itself is great, but the free cuddle session was a bit too hectic for us. In the future we would probably prefer to pay for a dedicated cuddle session to avoid the queues and have a more relaxed experience.
