Gianluca Siena is an outstanding native Umbrian driver and outstanding informal guide for the magnificent Umbrian region.
My sister and I have experienced excellent drivers and excellent informal guides in Italy and elsewhere in Europe, and Gianluca is truly exceptional.
Gianluca’s deep love for Umbria was infectious and his detailed knowledge of Umbria’s unique history, culture and special towns was so impressive.
Gianluca was always extremely kind and thoughtful to us, and his great personality made him a big pleasure to be with.
My sister and I had a wonderful time learning about the beautiful city of Perugia, the very charming towns of Gubbio, Spoleto, Spello and lovely Trevi — and the amazing Etruscan culture of course — from Gianluca. Gianluca’s wise and practical Italian travel advice was also deeply appreciated.
My sister and I really hated saying our final “goodbye” to Gianluca.
We very strongly encourage anyone who is contemplating a visit to wonderful Umbria seriously consider exploring this amazing area with Gianluca Siena as his or her very gifted Umbrian driver and informal Umbrian guide.
