点评：Padam Palace built more than a century ago by Raja Padam Singh.This magnificent palace is in Rampur which was the last winter capital of the Bushahr dynasty and is located on the old Hindustan Tibet trading route.
The architecture is fascinating,a mix of local and colonial styles and leaves you spellbound.The sprawling structure with elegant ash grey stone pillars,brown carved wooden first floor,a red slanting roof.The exquisitely carved wooden screen sits atop them like a crown.Blue doors with multi coloured stained glass adds to its richness.
In one corner of the lawn stood a lovely wooden gazebo with delicate pillars and a double tier slate roof.Its temple like ceiling was covered with mirrors and coloured glass with the names of gods and the king inscribed.
This palatial structure stands testament to a glorious era and takes you back in time.
