More fun for the crew than guests

点评：We thought we were fortunate to book this ship for one of only a few trips it makes.
The staff were absolutely happy in their work and very pleased to engage with the customers on any occasion.
However we found the experience awful. So of this could be blamed on the weather but not all.
We set on on the top deck which was a bit if a tight squeeze. However this was made worse when the rain started. There was not enough room for all under cover. We ended up very cold and very wet. Some disabled guests struggled to get a seat.
The journey itself was unremarkable and a little boring apart from going through a lock. Certainly the scrap yard was not a highlight. We seemed to have difficulty in docking at the end of the trip which prolonged the agony a bit.
You are encouraged not to bring food or drink on board. This was fine by us initially as there was a full bar. However the food offerings of sausage or cake were limited at best. As a diabetic I found it difficult to manage as we were actually on board for 5 hours. I actually think the crew had much better fayre. Maybe they brought there own. This was a fairly expensive trip and one sadly that we would not repeat nor recommend to others. However Ì do think the crew enjoyed it
