Nice cake - shame about the rest

点评：Decided to visit after reading the good reviews imagining a nice mooch amongst the plants followed by some nice grub in a cute tearoom but came away disappointed.
The nursery is tiny and has very few plants for sale and is pretty ramshackle. The cafe building is ok but considering it’s in a nursery, the planting looked bedgraggled and plastic plants on the wall are not a great look. We weren’t welcomed on arrival and there were no menus on the tables - we had to seek them out at the till. Service for a cold drink and piece of cake was very slow. The description of the drink on the menu was incorrect because someone had not read the can properly which seems a very amateur mistake. I had high hopes and maybe that was the problem. My friend said the cake was really nice and it was a generous portion but the tearoom and location need to meet the cake’s standard. I wouldn’t reccomend stopping here.
