Make some new but old memories aboard a amazing piece of engineering , full of life and character

点评：Did the full day with my young sons as a surprise ,and what a day!!!
They were kept busy from minute one , helping to prepare the engine by de-sooting the tubes with long brushes , fire starting , shovelling coal and the noise and sensations of her steaming up. It was completely a really nice in depth and very enjoyable learning/ fun with real a world hands on approach. When this stunning machine is brought into life literally at the smack of the button!!!....wow..for anyone who loves the old engineering aspect of which is sublime , to someone who has never seen or had any interest we can tell you its the attachment to something so old but beautiful at the same time this thing springs to life with sensations that cars , motorcycles or anything else combustion engine powered cannot , this is so different in its own so different way. Then to drive it feel the "beast alive" the massive engineering , rattles and clangs huge parts sliding and moving with visual power , cogs and flywheels spinning , the sense of the smoke and steam blowing overhead honestly addictive. You have a front seat show to all this happening right there before you . Then Dinner, beautifully prepared and cooked on the shovel in the fire box served in the trailer just another old timer experience lost in time but so needed and enjoyed. Onto the road , stopping briefly to go hands on , drawing water from the stream again all old timer things we have forgotten , then down the road for longer safely at a very nice pace down the picturesque lane , it's on a rolling "thunder" of sensations while taking in the amazing views , stopping to pull the whistle and hear the echo. My sons are both in the coal bunker smiling , grinning and laughing. We go back to another cup of tea biscuits and in awe. I can honestly say young or old , with a fondness for old engineering , old times , or history or none and a newbie to the great steam era.....Do it while you can...no seriously i will always have brilliant memories of Daddy and his Sons just doing something so different so needed , these beauties of bygone will not be available for ever, and it is because of the enthusiasm which Still pours from Chris , shown in how he delivers knowledge in a fun but safe way .
This experience "rocks" and rolls , whistles , smokes and steams take yourself back in time , and thoroughly enjoy.
