点评:As other reviews mentioned, this spot is like snorkeling in an aquarium. Even the tidepools are abundantly full of life. Bring $5 cash for parking (metal box) and arrive EARLY. We arrived at 9 am. It was already a bit crowded, but we were able to park in the small lot. There is no sand here. Wear water socks/booties to walk out on the lava shelf. Follow the rules; there is only 1 ingress/egress point. Sit on the "Two Steps", put on your fins, and float out on your belly. No jumping. Respect the coral. When we were there, we were told that the spot was closed the previous week to allow the coral some time to regenerate. I didn't use the port-a-potties here since we planned to go to the adjacent parking lot and visit Pu'uhonua o Honaunau (real bathrooms!) If you made the drive to Two Step Beach, definitely save time to visit Pu'uhonua o Honaunau as well!
