Great coffee and delicious lunch!

点评：I visited Montalto with some friends yesterday and felt I really should review the coffee and the delicious lunch. We have visited quite a few times in the past but the food has definitely taken a big step up. Firstly, we had coffee on arrival.. The coffee was delicious and there were so many scones, cakes and traybakes on offer it was hard to decide. Opted for scones since we'd decided to have lunch after a walk.
Lunch was really excellent. What we had: chowder, happy chicken, chicken caesar salad, sausage roll with salads.
The caesar salad was enormous with loads of lovely juicy chicken croutons, parmesan....perfect. the 'proper' chips that came with the happy chicken? I need to know how they make those. Fabulous! The chowder was full of fish and was, again, delicious! There are several very tasty salads so I chose a couple of those to have with my enormous homemade sausage roll. ... very tasty indeed.
There was water, ice, water with lemon and plenty of glasses available which is a great bonus after a good walk.
Really enjoyed the meal in the busy, well organised café and would highly recommend.

午餐真的很棒。我们吃了：杂烩汤、开心鸡、鸡肉凯撒沙拉、香肠卷配沙拉。
凯撒沙拉分量很足，配上鲜嫩多汁的鸡肉面包丁和帕玛森奶酪……简直完美。开心鸡配的“正宗”薯条呢？我真想知道他们是怎么做的。太棒了！杂烩汤里全是鱼，味道也很棒！还有好几种沙拉也很好吃，我选了几份来搭配我那份超大的自制香肠卷……真的非常美味。
有水、冰块、柠檬水，还有很多杯子，这在散步之后真是一大福利。
真的很享受在这家人气旺、秩序井然的咖啡馆用餐，强烈推荐。
