Disappointing, This Grande Dame needs updating.

点评：Booked a spa day experience with a massage and facial for my husband and I. After a very confusing check in that didn't set the tone for a relaxing start, we tried to move on and enjoy the day We both received a massage and facial and they were good, The therapists delivered and were experienced in their skills. But the treatments felt a little unimaginative, it was 'all business' and the treatment room felt old fashioned in decor and style, not at all cosy and serene. The spa area was overcrowded, not clean, stains on the loungers, rusty door frames, my locker was broken, and scuffed, mold outside the steam room, cobwebs in the restaurant. There was no sense or feeling of luxury for me here or attention to the details that make a guest feel special and taken care of. Some areas have been updated, the relaxation room was nice, but we couldn't use it, as all the beds were taken, the whole spa needs a major overhaul to warrant the prices it charges, it could be incredible, the setting and the grounds are beautiful but on reflection, there are so many other better places to spend your money.
