点评：You will certainly like the fountain, with its central figure and 8 female statues, but if you want to know what it represents – do some research. In the center and on a pedestal stands a reclining male figure representing the Turia, holding in his hands the Vessel of Abundance, from which the fruits of the Valencian garden come, and the 8 statues represent the eight irrigation ditches. The fountain is not dedicated to the Turia River, as we might think, but to the old Water Tribunal, which meets, in oral and public judgment, every Thursday at the Puerta de los Apóstoles of the Valencia Cathedral. Unfortunately, we did not see this "judgment", maybe you are lucky enough to visit Valencia on a Thursday.
