Wonderful experience- worth every penny
Elephant Care Samui的点评
点评：Our family of four (two adults, two children) had an amazing experience at the Samui Elephant Sanctuary and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui.
Our hotel pickup was on time, and when we arrived at the sanctuary, we were offered a welcome drink of either guava juice or bottled water.
We then walked through our agenda, which consisted of:
1. Preparing food for the elephants
2. Feeding elephants
3. Observing and interacting with the elephants in their habitat
4. Tea break
5. Watching the elephants take a mud bath
6. Washing/bathing with the elephants
7. Light dinner (which was excellent)
8. Carriages
Everything about the experience was well-run and incredibly memorable.
Our guide (Pat) was excellent and spoke English well, which added to our experience.
There were seven elephants which have been rescued and are now in the sanctuary - one four-year-old male (Lucky) and seven other females - two of which have become maternal figures for Lucky - it was great to witness this.
It’s slightly on the expensive side; however, totally worth it. It’s a not-for-profit organization, and all the money goes back into caring for the elephants.
