点评：We went on a rafting trip as a family of three (my husband, myself and my 9 year old son). I would highly recommend this for a fun family day out.
We booked via TUI and were picked up from our hotel in Side, on time and taken to the XDream base at the edge of the river in Koprulu Canyon. After a brief talk we were given wetsuits, life jackets and helmets. Then another short drive to where the rafting began.
First of all we were given the opportunity to wade into the water. Let’s not lie. It was cold!! But it was great fun! We were then split into groups and introduced to our guide.
The journey down the river took approximately 3 hours. The rapids themselves are enough for it to be fun and exciting but they are gentle. We were perhaps wanting them to get a little more strong!! The guides made the experience fun by getting us to splash the people in the other boats with our oars and they splashed us! There were also several opportunities to swim.
There was one stop along the journey down river to eat pancakes filled with chocolate sauce and to have a drink. Then another short time on the boat to reach the end of the tour. We were all disappointed that it had ended and wanted to go back to the beginning again!!
At the end we were given lunch which consisted of chicken on skewers, bulgar wheat pilaf, spaghetti, salad and bread. (Not much choice if you are gluten free!)
It cost us €20 for three pancakes, three cokes, two Fanta and one beer. It cost €25 for the flash drive of the video and photos of the day.
All in all, a great day out enjoyed by all of the family!
