Strange management policy.

点评：We were recently travelling as a couple in the area and wished to only just visit the shop without the distillery tour. We turned up at the gates (closed) and spoke to a girl on the intercom and expressed our wish to just visit the shop and buy some souveneirs etc. Only to be told that we should have booked to enter the shop online !! We visited other distilleries in the area and were able to just walk into their shops and purchase goods and whiskies.? I queried this policy a couple of times only to be told, quite curtly, that we could not enter as we had not booked. At this time of year the places cannot be too busy so I cannot fathom why ,as an elderly couple, we were not allowed entry. Seems a bit strange . Perhaps the staff can explain why this policy exists when any monies going over the counter supports the distillery and staff.
