Fabulous away day

点评：A big thank to all staff, for looking after us on our Normanton on Soar WI day out, a beautiful sunny day which was a bonus.
Once underway on the canal, most of the ladies opted to stay inside the cabin, about 5 of us sat outside in the sunshine and breeze - totally fabulous
We expereinced/and saw so many things along the journey, fabulous houses with riverside moorings, great scenery, the wildlife was fun, swan, ducks,drakes, herons etc, the larmas lying down in the sunshine and the wonderful countryside unknown to most of us, everyone from the houses waving as we slowly meandered along.
Going under very low bridges, and going through the locks was also a new experience to most of us - totally fascinating
We stayed at a riverside pub in Mountsorrel for lunch, then back on board for the sad trip back to loughborough
We all had the most fabulous time, thank all the very staff, they were very polite, supplied masses of information about what to see, and very professional.
