点评：Frida Kahlo Exhibition - At first I did think the price of $35 was a bit steep for a Regional Gallery experience, but I was wrong , it was worth every cent . Having once worked in galleries I am well versed as to the significant hurdles in getting an exhibition to be cohesive and targeted , and this delivered. I had a general knowledge of Frida and I am now further prompted to delve into her art and her story even more after being immersed in this visual experience. I really can't rate this enough as an exploration of her art , her relationships , and her ability to project her image into the world (the first insta influencer! - in such a visual way) . I went with my husband and son ( who knew nothing of her work) but they were swept up in her story and loved it . We were there for 2 hours , and I would have stayed a bit longer if not for another commitment. Thank you to the team at Bendigo Regional Gallery for the energy that you put into your exhibition programs . May I also add as a teacher for the past 23 years I absolutely loved the inclusion of the kids education program panels for everyone - made me think of how my younger eyes may have deciphered some of Frida's imagery.
