点评:We purchased a NCL Deluxe Road to Hāna Tour in a luxury 8 seater Van in Maui as an excursion on NCL Pride of America on our 50th Anniversary Trip.
It was a fiasco from the very start.
Our assigned driver did not have a drivers license or documentation to get on the secured dock area to pick us up. An office/dispatch employee with the tour company was asked to fill in. She had never given this tour but did live in the Hāna area. We left an hour past our time we were suppose to begin our trip. The van we were assigned was an aged van that was NOT equipped with 8 Luxury Captain Chairs as promised. My husband had to sit on a bench seat with another couple beyond the back tires with worn out shocks. His 8 hour ride back there resulted in a headache that lasted the remainder of the evening. He could not hear the driver’s explanation of sights over the intermittent microphone and the noisy a/c. I (luckily 😒) sat up front - three rows in front of him. Our thoughts were we could enjoy this highly priced excursion together on this special trip.
All our stops were rushed to get back to the ship in time due to our late departure.
Do NOT think your $800 per couple will buy you a positive experience. We would have been better to have taken the less expensive bus that seemed to be more ‘luxury’ than our rickety van.
The trip is long. The sights beautiful even though there were fewer waterfalls due to the drought in Maui.
I wanted to also note the excursion office employee (Michelle) who stepped in and gave us our tour on this fateful day was outstanding.
