Observation Head Lookout的点评
点评：Recently on a road trip I stopped at Observation Point lookout... the photos that were on Tripadvisor were really not selling the point and I know that many lookouts in the area offer better views, so I figured that they were not reflective of the area. And I was correct. It is beautifully signposted as you drive in and there is formalised car parking.
The lookout area is beautifully landscaped so just walking through the area is relaxing and joyful. Some areas of pavement have beautiful paintings along them. There are sheltered picnic tables at the point if you want to bring a picnic basket- and Yogi Bear has never been seen here! So you are safe. There is also a lot of bench seating along the walking area so you can rest. The pavements are in outstanding condition and very suitable for mobility aids.
The views from the lookout areas (plural) are lovely and you will get a different aspect from each one. The only small downfall is the toilets that are signposted - you follow Munjip Trail to Casey's Beach down a trail. This is not for people with mobility issues because there are steep stairs... if you have a car, drive down to the beach. If you are fit enough, it's actually a lovely walk.
The lookouts over the beach are worth visiting this location for, but it's more than just those lookouts... it is a really wonderful place to spend time at.
