Grimsthorpe Estate Shooting Ground的点评
点评：We had heard a lot about Grimsthorpe Shooting Ground, so made the 90 minute journey to visit.
It is a quite a long way off the main road, but once there, a nicely appointed clubhouse greeted us. The ground overall is well laid out, and some good technical, testing stands.
However, we were bitterly disappointed with the number of ‘no birds’ across a number of stands, and we weren’t able to complete a 100 bird shoot …. 8 of us got through 900 clays, which shows the scale of the problems we had!! We were still charged for more than 100 at the end very frustrating!
Additionally one of our number had mobility issues and so we hired a buggy … which broke down and had to be replaced half way round.
Came away feeling disappointed and overcharged for traps that weren’t working properly!!
