点评:Rob Roy Track is a tough but doable hike with one of the best viewpoints you can find at the end of it. To get there, you should note that there is a long gravel road to get there (15ish miles if I remember right). When I traveled it, the gravel road was in pretty good shape. You could go at 50-70 kph for most of it. The tail end gets a little bumpy, but that's only 1 or 2 miles. There are also a couple shallow water crossings on this drive. Most of them were dried up in late January and the few I did have to cross were extremely shallow. I did the drive in a compact car fine. We got there pretty early (7 or 8am, I think) and had the hike mostly to ourselves. On the way back, the crowds started to get big. Go early if you can. For the hike, it is mostly uphill and in the woods. The payoff is the spectacular upper view (do not stop at the lower view). You can see some beautiful falls and glacier. I'm generally not a viewpoint hike fan because you hike through not much to get to one view. This one is worth it though. One of the best viewpoints on any hike I have ever been on. This has got to be better than Rob Roy Peak - fewer people, less effort, less time, and a more unique view. I recommend checking this out.
