EBC trek - A fantastic experience from a locally owned and operated company

点评：We sought out a quote from Lhakpa at Adventure Sherpa Tracks after hearing about a great experience from a friend using the company. From the start Lhakpa was very diligent and flexible, adjusting the trek to our needs to make sure we got the experience and timelines we wanted.
One very small word of caution, this is a locally owned and operated company, of which English is not the primary language, so adjust your communication expectations accordingly. We had no issues, but it may bother some people.
Our trek started with an unscheduled helicopter ride to Lukla due weather, and Lhakpa was very proactive in the days before letting us know the potential delays, options and costs if flights were not running, this is not something others experienced so we were very grateful.
Our guide, Lhakpa Sherpa was in a word, excellent. His knowledge, attention to detail, advice on illness, food and culture was very much appreciated, not to mention he had a wonderful sense of humour and great English skills. When illness struck, he was happy to adjust our remaining days and stops to accommodate our needs, without a fuss. We were very lucky to have him. Our porter Sunjay was also always smiling and happy.
This tour included many things that other trekkers didn't, so I have grateful for the inclusions provided. It might not be the cheapest, but we were very happy with what we received.
I can highly recommend Lhakpa and Adventure Sherpa Tracks, and hope to be back one day again.
