点评：I was bought a Docks Beer Tour Brewery experience for my birthday recently and visited for the first time this week. I have been to a number of brewery tours dotted around the country and I have to say hands down this has been the best. Considering most of the tour only takes place in one room this is quite an achievement and that was all down to our host Dan. Dan entertained us for just over 2 hours with interesting and funny stories about the company, the brewing process and Grimsby itself.
As well as the brewery you get a sneak peek at their gig and event space. Plus on the way in you are offered a pint as part of the package and you have the opportunity to taste 6 thirds during the course of the talk. They also have a small shop that you can explore at the end of the talk where you can purchase beers to take home as well as some very cool t shirts, hoodies and beanies. Attending the tour gives you 15% off these products.
The bar itself is a lovely little space with a great atmosphere full of regulars and newbies. All the staff were friendly and approachable plus they also serve food but not on Sundays. Overall there was a real sense of community at Docks Beers and I loved it. I would be a regular if I lived closer.
