点评：I booked the Cenotes Experience tour with Gerry. I wanted some quiet out of the way cenotes to avoid crowds. The day was truly amazing 🤩. We headed to Cenote Caracol, part of the massive Sac Actun system of underground rivers.
Gerry had an amazing knowledge of the systems and environment and we chatted the whole way there.
We experienced 3 cenotes in the area. The first was an open cenote, the other 2 were closed - one a cavern and the other a cave. It was a fabulous experience to swim in each of the Cenotes, and to swim in between stalactites as well as in small spaces with bats roosting overhead. It was an amazing experience to be the only ones there, swimming quietly to just hear the sound of the water.
Finished the experience with a great lunch.
It was so great to see Gerry's passion for the environment and to share his knowledge.
Got to see a cenote shrimp, fish, mot mot bird, coatis and squirrel.
