Enjoyable trek in Gold Coast hinterland

点评：Twin fall circuit in Springbrook National Park was an interesting trek. It took us across many creeks, attractive cascades, underneath rainforest vegetation, passing some very old tree specimens and through greatly rolling terrain. The 4 Km trail was moderate but we still needed breaks several times. Cascades were the best places to rest as we could spend a fair time gazing at them to admire them fully. Most of the track was on fairly dry ground and surface was relatively good. We began our walk from the "Tallanbana" Carpark. Initially we were walking downhill towards the Twin Falls but towards the later it was again a climb, reaching the higher elevation towards the Canyon lookout giving us a good view of the Gold Coast CBD with the high rises standing like vertical flutes. The Canyon Lookout was the best place to take a good view of the Rainbow falls and the apex of Twin falls while being at one place.
