点评：An excellent 10 day tour and the key to our enjoyment was our brilliant guide and driver Asanka. Our thanks also to Ushan who helped plan the trip and answered a number of planning questions before our arrival.
We covered a lot of miles and end destinations during our visit. But Asanka made them pass quickly and included a number of additional stops to add a few more sites to our planned itinerary. Great early morning balloon ride, safaris, train journey and many other side trips!
Asanka has a great sense of humour and we shared many happy moments. He was also very good at explaining the historical aspects of sites we visited and about Sri Lanka's history under the various colonial powers over the centuries.
Driving in Sri Lanka is yet another Asian "experience" but we felt very safe in Asanka's capable hands as he carefully navigated around dogs, monkeys, an elephant, iguanas and snakes, not to mention raging busses, tuk tuks and SUVs.
Thoroughly recommend and we'll be looking forward to Asanka's and Ushan's company and skills on our next visit.
