Unique, Fascinating, and Gorgeous Historical Site!
El Zanjón De Granados的点评
点评：The tour of the El Zanjon De Granados was very cool and a unique look into the city's history, told through the history of this building. Once a mansion owned by a wealthy family, and later turned into tenement housing, this home housed underground tunnels to funnel the strong local rivers flowing through.
Lucia (spelling? hope I got it right!) was an EXCELLENT tour guide. She is very passionate and knowledgeable about the history of the building and site, and taught us all about its original construction, ownership, and eventual restoration and renovation. She also gave us a picture as to what life was like in the early days of Buenos Aires in the surrounding neighborhood. She was wonderful and gave us a thorough tour at a very nice pace so we could stop and take photos and look around. I highly recommend this one.
