点评：I researched best area for fly fishing in Arizona while planning a 2 week vacation near lakeside, AZ. Silver creek was #3 best places listed in all of Arizona.. I was very excited to take my father-in-law fly fishing for his first time. We get to the parking lot and see quite a few people (seems promising) beautiful area, lots of kids and grand parents near the entrance. After hiking up creek and making our way back down searching every bend, switching through every fly I owned, along with even trying our spinning rods we were about convinced there were no fish in the creek. We packed our stuff after about 3 hours and were making conversation with the kids at the bridge during our exit. As we talked they pull out not 1 but 2 pan sized trout. They had damned up the creek at the area and were using worms.
Still convinced, bad weather, bad timing, maybe even bad karma, but we didn't have a chance. At least we got some great photos. And some amazing casting practice in. I'm sure this area would have been great at a different time or day.
