Avoid Evergreen Holidays – Disappointing Experience via MakeMyTrip

点评：I booked my Kerala trip through MakeMyTrip, and the assigned local vendor was Evergreen Travels. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most disappointing travel experiences I’ve had.
1. Poor coordination and planning: There was absolutely no clarity or communication throughout the trip. The entire itinerary seemed unorganized, and it felt like no one really knew what was going on.
2. Unprofessional tour manager: The tour manager lacked basic customer service etiquette. At one point, he even told me that “his diesel was getting wasted on me,” which was completely unacceptable.
3. Unhygienic vehicle: The car provided had stains
4. Driver lacked knowledge and professionalism: Despite being a local, the driver did not know the routes and constantly relied on Google Maps, often missing turns and taking unnecessarily long routes. I eventually had to use navigation myself to avoid delays.
5. Unresponsive to requests: The driver never followed the planned itinerary, ignored requests for stops, and made the trip revolve around his convenience rather than ours.
6. Rash driving: Frequent sudden brakes and speeding made the rides uncomfortable.
7. Missed sightseeing spots: Due to poor coordination and misinformation, we missed several planned visits on the very first day itself.
Overall, the entire experience was poorly managed, from start to finish. The MakeMyTrip on-ground manager was rarely available, leaving us to deal with all the issues ourselves.
I would strongly recommend avoiding Evergreen Travels and being cautious when booking Kerala packages through MakeMyTrip, as their coordination with local vendors is unreliable and can turn a beautiful destination into a stressful experience.
