点评:When I started my journey with Premier, it seemed promising, but that quickly crumbled away.
I took my trial flight after it had been moved countless times on the day, and the instructor was wonderful! The instructors are what hold the company together. (Those who were qualified, and could legally instruct. Some weren't.) I booked another lesson in for the following month, an that's where cracks started to show.
I was told that I was getting my second flight at a discounted price, but it turned out that Ray, the owner, had put me in a Cessna 152, which I had no choice but to accept, as I found out on the day. This flight had been moved around like all of the others because Ray messed up the booking and blamed someone else, which is also a recurring theme.
Back to the 152... I was shocked that this aircraft was still seen as airworthy! (As it happens, it was later deemed unairworthy, grounded for non-payment, and later rescued by another company). The tyres were skidding off of the wheels, the propeller was chipped, the engine was spluttery throughout the flight, and just as I thought it couldn't get worse, the parking brake broke on me!
I booked another flight after I had landed, and once again paid for a PA28. I arrived as usual for the next one, and found out that it was the same old Cessna.
As for my next flight... It didn't go ahead. As was the case with all three of my future bookings, costing me over £600. The excuse was "unforseen circumstances," which later turned out to be bankruptcy... On a whole new scale.
Luckily, this company will no longer have any more victims, however its actions are truly unforgivable. Even thinking about the company boils my blood, especially as Ray would con a 14 year old out of £600 without any thought or remorse, made even more shocking by the "no refunds" policy.
I have since moved elsewhere, however PFT nearly caused me to rethink my future ambitions. PFT did not hold up the spirit of aviation, instead turning it into a money-making game.
