Fabulous 2 weeks on the Broads
Richardsons Boating Holidays的点评
点评：We have just returned back from two glorious weeks on the Norfolk Broads. Richardsons as a company deserve 5 plus stars. Their customer service is excellent and the twice we needed help an engineer was sent out promptly and they were too were faultless.
The Broads as always is stunning and for me, unbeatable. We have walked, dined, had a few mishaps, thankfully not major ones. How Hill woodland was my favorite spot this year, so peaceful.
The boat we hired was Swan Romance which saw us through two weeks. However as we discovered on our previous holiday, there is very little room to shower even for a little person like me. The heaters were fantastic and we were warm throughout our holiday. I do think it has been a milder October this year. I wasn't over keen on the layout of this boat, but we still had a great time.
We did have a bump which shook us up a little and as a result we had engine failure. The guys in Great Yarmouth were fantastic as were the Richardson team and engineers.
The downside is the sheer rudeness of other river users ( i.e. yachts and anglers) Whilst we are aware we need to share the rivers with anglers, one particular guy made it as difficult as possible for us to move from a mooring by throwing his line in front of our boat as we were moving. Instead of waiting for us to be out of his way he continued with his show. On another occasion we were literally overtaken by a yacht in Potter as were in the process of mooring up. We have never experienced this type of behaviour in the past and it's really frustrating and off putting.
