点评:This is our second visit in the space of 3 years. It is a little more expensive than other bamboo rafting but please remember this is the original.
It’s a part of the Jamaican heritage so please take that In mind. If you can do this in other countries then they have copied this.
It’s $100 usd for 1 raft that sits two people.
The captain who you get makes the trip. In low season they might only get to go down once and if they don’t get to go they don’t get paid so I personally encourage tipping. Most captains have been doing this job 30 years plus.
Ask lots of questions if your captain isn’t talkative they will tell you all about the history the landscape and even themselves.
Number one must do trip in my eyes that isn’t over touristy. You get an hour and half ride. The river is beautiful and diverse of wildlife.
If you ask your captain you can smoke if that’s your vibe. Take your own drinks down or buy them before you go from the shop.
All the captains will try and sell you their art before you disembarked, they all do differ t things. don’t feel pressured though. Take a look and say no thanks politely and they will be fine with it.
