Knaresborough Viaduct的点评
点评：It’s a cute town. Not much to do there except along the waterfront which is beautiful. Great views from the castle and the walks along the Nidd are worth doing. You can occasionally see a King Fisher at the water’s edge.
What REALLY lets Knaresborough down is the traffic congestion and the disappointing high street. It feels like it’s grid locked all day long. It doesn’t help that there are roadworks all over town CONTINUALLY. The local council seem more than happy to allow roadworks and temporary traffic lights for months at a time, in a continuous cycle on major junctions. When they finish and clear up, they come back a few days later and start again. Sometimes, practically every route has three or four way temporary lights and there are no alternative routes in or out of town. I can’t remember a time when this town wasn’t snarled up with roadworks. This can really spoil a trip to Knaresborough. If you arrive by train it’s probably less stressful.
