Tibes Indigenous Ceremonial Center的点评
点评：It is unfortunate that a lot of the physical artifacts of the pre-Columbian societies have been destroyed during the violent colonization of Puerto Rico so the Tibes Indigenous Ceremonial Center is a real gem. They have a museum which displays Taino, Pre Taino, and Ignerí artifacts and information in Spanish and English. The museum is an excellent source of history both for people who may not know much about pre-Columbian societies in the Greater Antilles and for those who do have some foundational knowledge and/or a passion for learning about pre Columbian societies of Latin America like myself. There is a beautiful botanical garden displaying the many different types of trees and shrubs. There is also 2 ball courts and a plaza and some petroglyphs. The petroglyphs are clearly labeled though I had some trouble seeing them more than my friend. There were some docile wild horses in the area too which I find as a little bonus.
