The Little; The Big & The Brown: All Great Ucluelet Beaches.
Little Beach的点评
点评：Little Beach, Big Beach & Brown’s Beach are the three main beaches in Ucluelet, which offer easy access to the ocean.
Little Beach is at the furthest end of Ukee’s main road, Peninsula, which is the road in which you drive into this stunning ocean village, located on Vancouver Island’s Wild West Coast.
It has the largest span of beach & is the one people come to to play at.
Big Beach is on Marine Drive at the bottom of Mattherson & has facilities like a shady picnic spot with tables, as well as toilet facilities.
This beach has some sandy spots, some more rocky spots, as well as some wonderful tidal pools to explore. It also has a range of volcanic black rocks for which the area is known & from which the adjoining wonderful Black Rock Oceanfront Resort take its name.
It is a great spot to sit at and watch the mind-blowing sunsets Ukee is blessed with.
It also gives access to the Wild Pacific Trail, which is a must do for visitors to the restorative area
& indeed attracts people from around the world.
Residents of Ukee, as the ocean village is known to locals, also are attracted to the trail for the views & nature observation it allows.
Brown’s Beach is just to the right of Big Beach but is smaller.
It is easy to walk to the beaches from much of the village. There is a car park too for those who wish to drive to these Ukee beaches.
There is also another beach called Terrace beach but it is not as easy to access.
