点评：Visiting Raigad Fort isn't just a trip; it is a pilgrimage for every Shivpremi. The moment you step onto the sacred soil of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's capital, you can feel the weight of our glorious history.
We took the Raigad Ropeway to the top, though many prefer trekking from the start point. My biggest worry was that without a good physical guide, we would just be looking at silent stone walls without understanding the true magnitude of what happened there. Plus, the mobile network on the mountain is almost non-existent.
Thankfully, someone recommended a free app called DurgVaani before we left. It completely transformed our entire journey! You download it at home, and it works 100% offline on the fort. The best part? It uses live GPS tracking. As we walked from the imposing Maha Darwaja to the holy Maharaj Samadhi, the app automatically played beautifully narrated historical stories exactly at the spots where those events happened.
Hearing about the strategic brilliance and unmatched valor of Maharaj while standing right in his durbar gave me absolute goosebumps. The fort literally came to life.
