Family pizza train on the Great Northern Railroad!

点评：Wanted to do something a little different with our young granddaughters and their parents. We did the family pizza train on the Great Northern RR in Trego, WI. I did the wine and cheese train three years ago and wanted to ride again.
You make reservations ahead of time online and pre-order what pizza you want. Drinks and a huge cookie go with it, again, all ordered when you make the reservations and payment. We had a private dining compartment and our drinks were on the table when we boarded the train. The pizza came about 10 minutes after we left the station and was pretty good! The staff is very nice, and the ride is relaxing at a slow pace in restored train cars. Two-hour RT and then it's back to the station, which is just the right amount of time with younger children. Not cheap, but worth it. For 4 adults and two children, it was around $230 w/o tax.
