Great beach near enough to walk…and Turtles!

点评：We walked to the beach, which took us about 30 minutes from the cruise port. The first part is along a road through an industrial area, but before very long, there are trails to cut over to the beach. There are wide flat shoulders to walk on and the road was easy to cross when we needed to do so.
We got an early start just as the stores in the mall were opening. Another couple walking near us was looking for their rental car place, and a security guard stopped to check in because some of the sites in the area were closed. He helped the other couple and then asked us. We said we were walking to the beach he said okay enjoy, so we figured we were on the right track. We saw a few homeless encampments, but had no issues with anyone.
When we got to a trail to cut across from the road to the beach, we found a few huge turtles. We walked the length of the beach and saw families, groups of surfers, kite and body boarders, people fishing and wading. We stayed for a couple of hours and then took a ride-share back to the mall near the cruise port in time to catch our afternoon excursion. It was a great day!
