Kilolani Spa at Grand Wailea的点评
点评：We have been going to the space at the Grand Waimea since it opened in the 1980s. For the last two or three years the spa has been closed, first due to COVID And then to renovation. We returned two days after Christmas. Yes, the sp is lovely, everything is outside and refreshing, 5e steam room perfect and the hot tube relaxing. The room where you wait for your spa service is. Updated and still overlooks the fountains and on out to the ocean. Our masseuses were each excellent. I specifically can commend Hiro. Happily the total cost now includes a service charge making that part of the trip easier
But, there is room for improvement to go along with the increased prices. First, why can’t this be a no phone zone? I am especially concerned about folk taking photos and while I hope I am not the subject, I don’t know in whose background I might appear. Second, I wish there was not a stress on the time, with a reminder that there are clocks to make sure you are on time. Third, we miss the loofa scrub, though the personal salt scrub was fun. Fourth, you are offered a full list of options at bookings. I think it is an unfair pressure on the masseuse to show you an option list just prior to your service. And, finally, we received a nice thank you note for coming and suggesting if e had any comments or queso’s to just contact them. However, the email comes as a no reply email and there is no information on ending a reply email or even a phone number. I would have preferred to make these comments above directly to the spa, but Kilolani spa left me no easy way to do that
Bottom line, we hope to return next year and hope some of the kinks or a recent opening might be smoothed out
