Puebla's Historical Downtown, centuries old Library Palafoxiano and Cholula's Great Pyramid.

点评：The trip to Puebla MX from CDMX was an easy 2 1/2 hour bus trip. ADO bus company has top notch bus service. In Puebla, we rushed at 5 pm to see the Bblioteca Palafoxiano Library, one of the oldest and continuously serving libraries in North America. It was very very impressive and to see books published in the 1500s/1600s on display was a moving experience. We also visited the Great Pyramid in Cholula and the Church atop. This pyramid is so well camouflaged with grass and hilly terrain that only after seeing the excavated ruins one can accept that a pyramid exists underneath the mud and rubble. We did a mistake of going on a Monday. The architectureal dept is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so the very popular tunnel inside the pyramid ( a must see per other reivewers) was sorely missed. We will do it next time. We also visited the Historical Downtown of Puebla - Lively shops and restaurants that sell local items like ceramics, clothing and local foods; one can spend hours on and is mesmerizing.
