Excellent but be mindful of climbing path

点评：Amazing hike, I accidentally did the challenging climbing section even though I had intended to take the easier left side route. Oops.
I had read about the different paths, other users indicating that the left path was the safest to avoid rock climbing. However I ended up getting lost in the thick grass, even after starting the left path! I have attached photos that show some of the spots where the path branches, which confused me!
There is one compulsory green rope rock area, which is very easy. The remaining rock areas alongside a waterfall are significantly more demanding and feel quite scary. If you wish to avoid these additional sections of rock climbing, you must turn left at the main Opcional fork, taking a rocky path leading up away from the main popular route... typically, this left side is the downward return path that leads to/from the Mirador view point. But you can go up it for safest choice. During these first 20 mins here, keep left if encountering branching paths in the grass. A right-veering path along the ridge rejoins the main 'right' path, which would take you to the rock waterfall section! You should eventually find yourself zigzagging up around to the left of the large hill, passing some large boulders on your right, and will be able to see the campsite below you on the right. Rocky climb avoided!
The rock climbing section is achievable, and there are ropes and metal grips, but you are definitely using all your limbs to climb up, which would be unsuitable for many people less agile, it felt unnecessarily risky given the real possibility of falling. I had sunny weather, so grip was very good, do not attempt in wet conditions. Enjoyable but hairy.
