Meh…not the amazing day we hoped for at Isla Pasion

点评：We purchased this tour from our ship. We met in the cruise port with a large group. They talked when we met about the seaweed conditions attempting to manage our expectations. It took quite a bit of time waiting for them to process everyone. We finally boarded the boat and began the approximately 60 minute journey. We signed consents but there were no other activities on the ride over.
The island was lovely but the seaweed was 4-6 feet wide on the beach and in the water. We did not go in the water.
Drinks were fine. Lunch was not good. Took way too much time and quality was fair. Restaurant service was chaotic and we waited quite a while before they took our order. Food arrived and my fish tacos were cold and the fish looked like it was cooked a while ago. I didn’t eat it. Next day, my daughter was sick. Was it the food? Probably.
They had a piñata for the kids which was fun. They played a bit in the pool too. Since the seaweed was bad, they didn’t get to use the inflatables. (Was one of the reasons we booked this excursion.)
The hosts that are assigned were good and kept us informed. The saxophone player was quite talented and enjoyable. We took the boat back and had about 10 minutes to make the ship. Good thing we booked through the ship for the excursion.
Wasn’t worth what we paid and next time will just go to a local beach club.
