Steep but Worth It !!
Soco Falls的点评
点评：GPS leads you to the old parking area for Soco Falls. Continue on about .03 of a mile past & around big curve .. big new signage, new platforms, new way to get to the Falls. Still very Steep, but has 36 man made concrete steps in groups of 3 (108) ) and in other parts with natural slope. There are new wooden handrails and it has a lookout platform by the new sign, but you can’t really see anything from there but trees. There’s about 100 feet of very rocky area with roots to walk over/around. Then a nice platform to view falls. They did a great job renewing the area after the flooding & damage from hurricane Helene. We are almost 75 & 66 with double knee replacements and outside of having to stop on the way back up to catch our breath we did fine. There is a bench and at each turn Big rocks you can sit on. I did bring a hiking pole & helped me a lot going down to slow my pace & Not slide on gravel. Helped coming up too. Beautiful Falls and worth the stop.
