冒纳罗亚火山豆工厂的点评
点评：I had very low expectations for this place after all these bad reviews here but I wanted to see some Macadamia Nut trees and decided to visit here despite all the low ratings...
First of all the drive here from the main highway to the facility is a gem in itself - you pass by soooooo many Macadamia Nut trees and it looks like one huge orchard - so cool and super unique, even for a very unique Big Island! It never ceases to amaze me!
Then once we get to the facility, after recent facelift from what I read, the visit inside comprised of 3 things (all FREE!!!):
1. Gift shop - where you can also taste 4 different flavors/nuts - very pleasant colors, really liked it (no I don't care about the brand nor to be honest have bought their stuff ever before, and I liked other brands around the island better but still a great place)
2. You can watch a video - a bit corny one, but still educational (we are still laughing with my wife about the "main character" felt like you went back in time 100 years LOL)
3. You can walk around the gardens where different trees/plants are marked (or not/simply missing their tags) our favorite part - we found a Macadamia Nut that fell of the tree, broke it with a flip flop YES LOL, and then ate it "straight" from the tree - how cool is that! A dream come true for me :P
I think people are way too harsh about this place, it's free - I really don't get what is not to like here, and I like said even arriving here is pretty scenic!

我认为人们对这个地方太苛刻了，它是免费的 - 我真的不明白这里有什么不喜欢的，而且我喜欢说即使到达这里风景也很美！
