Don’t pay too much for what could be a great day out.

点评：Mixed views after our visit.
As my wife was paying the £47.50 admission fee (2 adults & our 6 year old grandson plus a further £1.50 - for the little fellow to feed the deer) we were informed it was a donation and we could pay what we wanted.
I’m not sure if this was deliberate or if the assistant forgot until the transaction was being completed….
Normally this wouldn’t be an issue except for 2 things the “admission price(s)” are clearly posted with no mention of pay-as—you-please and the first thing we encountered when we entered the park were sit & ride toys which required £1 per shot.
We all got to feed the deer (it appeared that it didn’t matter if you’d paid extra or not) which the grandson enjoyed.
Other than that a pleasant day out - if the admission price was £25 or the “toys” were included and a bit less shabby it would have been a much better review.
Generally we were left with the feeling that we’d been taken advantage off.
The other attractions could do with a bit of TLC (there were only 2 go-karts (and about 10 kids wanting to use them) - one was removed whilst we were there; the ring the bell toy wasn’t working - it took me about 45 seconds to fix; the Buccaneer is off limits despite a viewing platform being in place??
