点评：We have visited Santa for the past 2 years at the Deer Centre. This year I missed out on Santa so opted for the Mrs Claus. The Mrs Claus was really out of character,; young (20 year old?), nose pierced with long blonde hair. She did engage with the children but it was obvious it was a set reel of questions and she didn’t care for the responses.
They have also moved the grotto to within the park this year. It didn’t work. One of the main reasons we have been coming back each year was for the ‘snow’. There was none this year, my children were gutted. The ‘ice- rink’ was absolutely filthy and as a previous review said the boots were broken, old and rusty. The fire pit where you could listen to a story and toast a marshmallow was OK, but I’m not sure what was being burnt on the fire as the marshmallows tasted chemically - to the point my daughter wouldn’t eat them! A train ride from the checking in reception to the entrance of the grotto, literally lasted 15 seconds. The young lady at the train stop before the tunnel was lovely and could show some of the others how to speak to children!
The park itself is in dire need of a revamp. Toilets full of urine and not flushing away, play equipment slippery and dangerous in wet weather, no animas on display except for a handful of deer at the entrance and some birds of prey.
