My Favourite Museum in the World
Saffron Walden Museum的点评
点评：Saffron Walden Museum is a staple of my childhood and each time I return as an adult, I'm reminded just why I loved it so much as a child. It's got fantastic exhibitions, the staff are very nice and the whole place is so well laid out. It's a bit of a hidden gem in Saffron Walden as it's tucked up away from the high street near the church (which is also a must-see). But it's well worth the visit.
Added note: While the hedge maze and gardens in Saffron Walden aren't officially connected with the museum, I always feel like they're an extension of what this town has to offer. They are a short walk from the museum and an absolute must-see. Another hidden gem that even I, a local, struggled to find. It doesn't have its own Tripadvisor page but I thought I'd add it here and suggest it as an experience to twin with visiting the museum. Great for couples, friends and families alike. I came here with my friend and we spent hours in the gardens and the maze. The museum is still my favourite out of all the museums I've ever visited around the world and I will recommend it to anyone visiting Saffron Walden.
