Countryside Road Stand的点评
点评：This was a roadside stop on a tour bus trip, on an isolated farm away from the more crowded areas of Lancaster. Upon exiting the bus, our group was greeted by a young Amish woman, serving up samples of their soft pretzels. Since I am gluten-free, I did not have any - but, everyone around me was raving about them! You can also treat yourself to root bear or ice cream. Other food being sold includes choices of eggs, cheese, butter, pies, pastries, and other desserts - along with canned fruits, vegetables, and relishes, too.
It is a comfortable place to browse around. The shop offers a marvelous selection of Amish-made bird houses of all shapes and sizes as well as table runners, wall hangings, quilts, toys and even some homemade soaps, home remedies and healing teas.
I wish that our tour could have stayed longer, but it was only a 20 minute stop for us. I do plan on returning here in the future!
