点评：We really enjoyed wandering through the grounds and gardens, and found the house really interesting. We also loved the rural museum. Information was again presented superbly well.
As so many people have already commented, we thought it was such a shame that produce from the garden wasn’t used in the cafe. There was so much fruit and veg that was just being left to drop, grow too big or go to seed; it didn’t appear that anything was being harvested. If they’re not going to use the fruit or vegetables, could they not be sold or given away? It seemed such a waste.
We were not expecting much from the café having read previous reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised (although it would have been even better if produce from the garden was used!). The specials we had were tasty and inexpensive, and they had some delicious cakes!
All in all, a great day out, and incredibly good value for money!
