点评:The previous reviews are accurate. I tried it solo starting at 1030 am a day after it rained with only three bottles of water. Do NOT go solo. I slipped multiple times, fortunately only “injuring” my pride, it would have been a problem if the “injuries” were physical. The last quarter or so of the “trail” is really more of a steep slippery track in which you pull yourself up by grabbing tree roots. I met a Fijian who were inching themselves down along this last segment. They told me that I still had a steep climb to the top and strongly recommended against continuing. I was determined to continue but I was tired and started slipping and misstepping so I decided to follow them down. Very wise move since we had to use their rope several times to help us get through the muddier parts of the trail. It took us more than two hours to descend. We ran out of water. I was definitely dehydrated and suspected that I was on the verge of worse. We made it to the guard at the entrance of the cement factory and he ran across to the factory offices to get us a large bottle of water. Very welcomed! I may try again but with much better preparations and definitely not solo!
