Well maintained piece of history
National Trust - Quarry Bank的点评
点评：We paid visit to the mill in March 2025 as I wanted to see inside the apprentice house as well as another look around the mill.
The apprentice house is strictly appointment slots only and I was lucky enough that there was availability just 15 minutes after we arrived. My tour guide was Keith. He was very clear, very enthusiastic and his stories brought the place to life. It's very interesting to see and hear about the conditions of yesteryear.
In the mill, the staff are very friendly and informative. Julie was happy to switch a couple of machines on and show us how they worked, as was the steam engine operator.
It wasn't a good day for exploring the gardens as we've done previously and the recent landslide is limiting access at various points.
Well worth a visit to this great, well maintained piece of history.
